The chosen charity for Vets Uncovered 2024 is the AVA Benevolent Fund.
The Veterinary Benevolent Fund is a charity endorsed by the Australian Veterinary Association (AVA) and puts emphasis on providing practical support to those greatly affected by illness, financial hardship, accident, or otherwise having a tough time. This assistance includes financial help for those in necessitous circumstances, as well as support for counselling.

Our Veterinarians work hard to ensure each and every animal has the best of care, but sometimes they also need help. Through the AVA benevolent fund veterinarians are able to gain support when impacted by adverse circumstances such as floods, fires, storms, personal tragedy etc. The fund also assists in covering the costs of medications, materials and treatment for disasters involving  wildlife. So that veterinarians can continue to do their best to provide important services in affected areas.
